The Carolina Literacy Project was started to help improve the English literacy of immigrant and refugee children and reduce the learning loss that happens during summer. CLP does this through summer camps located in Greenville, SC.

My son attended the Carolina Literacy Project summer camp in the summer of 2023. I want to say that it was an incredibly interesting atmosphere and he had a good time.
Firstly, an excellent approach to learning English through games, fun communication, theatrical performances, and sports competitions. With the help of these, my son learned many new words and phrases, as well as interesting facts about sports, other cultures, food, and much more. In addition, he made great progress in communicating in English.
Also, I want to note the great effort and dedication of the teachers and volunteers. There were always friendly relations, care, and an interesting approach to children. The children were happy to go to camp and picking them up from camp was always a problem because they wanted more.
In conclusion, I want to say that this camp gave my son great preparation and confidence before studying at school. He got many vivid and unforgettable impressions, new friends, and knowledge. And I want to say a huge thank you to all of the staff.
