Sponsor a Child for Camp

Your support and contributions will enable a child to improve their English skills by attending camp. 

One week of camp = $40

Three weeks of camp = $120

Six weeks of camp = $240

Thank you to all of our partner organizations!

Project Host provides free meals to homeless people, after school programs, summer camps, culinary programs, and more. They provide daily lunches and snacks to our students at camp. 

Walt's Waltz works to create mental health stigma free environments. We are one of their stigma free environments. They come every summer to do art projects and talk about mental health with our students. 

Greenville Drive Baseball

The Greenville Drive Baseball Team is a minor league baseball team affiliated with the Boston Red Sox that comes to visit camp each year. Players who are learning English come to teach our students about baseball and play games with them. 

The Phoenix Center mobile education unit visits our camp to help teach our students about the dangers of alcohol and drugs. 

Hoops University Basketball

Hoops University works with kids to help improve their basketball skills. Coach Myson comes to camp each summer to teach basketball skills to our students. 

The Greenville Symphony Orchestra visits camp each year to play music along with a chosen book that is read by a local actor. 

Teachers from Roper Mountain Science Center's Science on Wheels program come to visit camp each year to do interactive science activities with our students. 

Members of the Triumph soccer team came to camp to teach the kids new soccer skills and to play scrimmage games with them. 

Love of Literacy Book Drive

Our Love of Literacy Book Drive has started! We are collecting bilingual, multilingual and multicultural new or gently used books for our summer camp. We really need children and young adolescent bilingual books and books in other languages. Please consider donating a book or a gift card to Amazon or another bookstore. You can view our Amazon wish list by clicking on the tab below or on the QR code on our flyer. Thank you for donating!

Books can be dropped off at the church office of St. Michael Lutheran Church at 2619 Augusta Street in Greenville. Available hours:

Monday—Thursday • 8:00 AM-Noon, 1:00-4:30 PM & Friday • 8:00 AM-Noon

Call the office at (864) 232-8510 before dropping off books to make sure someone is available at the office.
